D. Guru Besar Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta ini meninggal dunia, pada usia 82 tahun, kemarin (21/5) pukul 18.35 Wib di RS Puri Cinere, Jakarta Selatan. Menurut salah seorang menantunya Horas Situmorang, MM, Suami dari Amelia br Kaligis ini tutup usia setelah dirawat selama lima hari karena menderita komplikasi. Ia meninggalkan seorang isteri, tiga anak, dan sembilan cucu. Menurut rencana, WP Napitupulu akan dikebumikan di Taman Makam Pahlawan Kalibata, Kamis (24/5). Sejarah singkat Bukan perjalanan singkat saat Prof. Dr. Washington Pandapotan Napitupulu dipercaya memimpin Direktorat Jenderal Diklusepora. Jabatan eselon satu itu ia pegang selama hampir 17 tahun dengan empat menteri yang berbeda, yakni di era Syarief Thayeb (1974-1978), Daoed Joesoef (1978-1983), Nugroho Notosusanto (1983-1985), dan Fuad Hasan (1985-1993). Pada masa kepemimpinan Fuad Hasan, Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan ini mengusulkan kepada Presiden Soeharto agar Napitupulu tetap memegang jabatannya hingga pensiun. Napitupulu dinilai memiliki tekad dan komitmen tinggi menggalakkan pemberantasan buta huruf dengan Program Kejar Paket A. Bahkan, ketika pensiun usia 60 tahun pada Maret 1990, Presiden memperpanjang jabatannya hingga Agustus 1991. Program monumental yang digulirkan WP Napitupulu adalah Program Kejar Paket A. Untuk memberantas buta huruf, W.P Napitapulu menetapkan strategi “kejar” yang secara filosofis kependekan dari “bekerja dan belajar”. Secara harfiah “kejar” kependekan dari Kelompok Belajar. Senam Kesegaran Jasmani juga lahir di era kepemimpinannya. Usai pensiun, Napitapulu masih dipercaya Mendikbud Fuad Hasan sebagai Ketua Harian Komisi Nasional Indonesia untuk UNESCO. Jabatan ini ia jalani kurun 1991-2002. Tugas sebagai ketua harian ini banyak kaitannya dengan tugas Dirjen Dikluspora di bidang pendidikan, ilmu pengetahuan, kebudayaan, dan komunikasi yang merupakan tugas utama UNESCO. Pengabdian total Dinamika perjalanan hidup W.P. Napitupulu penuh warna, karena pengabdiannya selalu total. Ia pernah menjadi guru (1952-1954), kemudian berkecimpung di Ikatan Indonesia untuk Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (1954-1956), Departemen Urusan Riset Nasional (1962-1966), Departemen Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi (1967-1974). Di Depnaker ia turut andil dalam mensukseskan Program Pengiriman Tenaga Sukarela melalui Badan Urusan Tenaga Kerja Sukarela Indonesia (BUTSI). Hingga di penghujung hidupnya pun ia masih berkarya untuk pendidikan sebagai dosen di berbagai perguruan tinggi, yaitu Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi The London School of Public Relation, dan Universitas Pancasila. Pada 31 Maret 2012 lalu, saat Napitupulu merayakan hari ulang tahunnya yang ke-82. Ia masih sempat menyaksikan peluncuran buku biografinya, 17 Tahun Memajukan Pendidikan Nonformal yang diterbitkan oleh Ditjen PAUDNI. Perbedaan Prosesor Pentium 4 Coleron Dual Core,Core 2 Duo 20.33 By mahmud's blog 0 komentar Perbedaan Pentium dan Celeron Celeron atau lengkapnya disebut dengan istilah Intel Celeron adalah nama resmi salah satu jenis/keluarga prosesor produksi Intel Corporation, merupakan prosesor single core. Prosesor ini dipasarkan ke konsumen sebagai prosesor kelas ekonomi (low end) atau prosesor berharga murah. Intel Celeron kemudian berkembang menjadi Celeron D yang juga dipasarkan ke konsumen sebagai prosesor kelas ekonomi berharga murah. Seperti telah diketahui secara luas, perusahaan Intel, selain memproduksi prosesor desktop kelas low end, juga memproduksi prosesor desktop kelas high end, yaitu Intel Pentium (Pentium Classic, Pentium MMX, Pentium Pro, Pentium 2, Pentium 3, Pentium 4, Pentium D, Pentium Extreme Edition, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Duo hingga Core 2 Extreme dan Core 2 Quad). Di Indonesia, khususnya kalangan pengguna komputer yang masih awam, seringkali rancu dalam memahami prosesor Celeron.
